arms full of sound
Here is a part of the gear that is still somewhat an add-on to the primary sound of Arms Full of Sound. It has been the belief that authentic instruments be used. You know what? They are too expensive and their software counterparts are not too shabby.
In fact, it has been these V-Synths, as they are called, that has really helped to define the sound of the music.
Arms Full of Sound runs Absynth right now on 3 early Apple iBook computers. Two of them are driven by MIDI controllers, and the third is a standalone unit run as a drone for the most part. In the past, Artutia CS-80V has been run on a slightly newer iBook, but that unit has since gone the way of the “computing dead”. They just don’t make them like they used to.
