The Synthitone

It has been personified in the adventures of The Traveler on Ambientia. The device that was built from various musical instruments - The Synthitone.

This name was adopted out of the Journey to Ambientia projects and is now the name for the main synthesizer “cockpit” that Arms Full of Sound uses.

Over the years, the Synthitone has had many homes and many shapes. Like the evolution of the Arms Full of Sound music, so to can you witness the changes in layout and gear.

What was a couple of basic units, became a 3 sided system with the front a double row of synths. As it grew, the system became double rows on each side.

Briefly, parts of the system became 3 rows in depth, but some crafty rearranging soon brought it back to 2 rows deep, but now 4 sides.

The things that held all of this gear evolved as well - from an old makeshift desk that was found in the basement, drum stools, milk crates, old guitar cases and anything else that will hold a synthesizer, to proper stands. Although, you might still find a milk crate or two and some cardboard boxes in the mix, these days.
