When talking about Digital-Analog synthesizers, one might begin to be confused about the whole thing. In short, these devices are built on Digital synthesizer technology, but can be manipulated like an analog synthesizer. A truly fascinating combination.
The following Digital-Analog units are in the Arms Full of Sound gear and produce some of the core sounds that you hear in the music: Korg MS-2000B, Akai AX-80, and the Yamaha FB-01. The Korg was the “big” purchase and can do all sorts of really cool things. The Akai was bought second hand and not only because of the sound, but the LED graphs for the sound manipulation are cool too! The FB-01 was a great little eBay purchase and is run through MIDI.
